They installed a sprinkler system. DHI was an outstanding provide in all respect: prompt responses to initial queries, easy to work with (for setting up the installation), and a mimimum of disruption when they did the work. This was a great service and no problems at all. They completed way before scheduled and did everything that they said they would do. The technicians were very nice and professional. Very professional guys who really know their field. I have a very difficult yard for other estimates I got, but it was not a problem for them. I have 1/3 acre with a sloping walk out lot, trees, and many gardens, Dale had great solutions for all, and it all works great!! Based on other quotes given in the past, I thought I would never be able to afford having my whole yard set up with a great sprinkler system, but I am so happy I tried one more quote! They also came out in fall to shut it down and will be out in spring to start it up, I am so happy, and no more dried up lawn! B. M.Eagan, MN.
We are extremely impressed with Dale. His work is top notch and he is also a great guy. He installed our wonderful lawn irrigation system and has been very helpful in helping out us newbies. This summer we had water in our basement and he came over and dug up the area near the house to verify the system was not at fault. It ended up being a clogged sewer drain backing up into the basement. He never charged us for this extra service. That’s just the kind of guy he is. A real pleasure to do business with. They installed Hunter Irrigation System, 33 Heads, Controller, Rain Sensor, & indoor plumbing. The installation went great. They workers were very professional & did a great job. Provided a bid which was less than other bids. Came when scheduled and performed the work. Provided an orientation on the equipment. Cleaned up and repaired lawn after the work was completed. Installed full yard sprinkler system. Pulled permits, organized plumbing changes, installed and adjust sprinkler system. It went super well. The day of the install, Dale arrived early and began laying out where the heads would go. I left for work and left the house open so the plumber could add the manifold. When I arrived home, Dale and crew had left and the sprinkler system was up and running. The plumbing changes were excellently done and the inspector had been by to approve them before the day was out. Dale dropped by a few days later and fully explained the operation. I did later have a few adjustments that needed to be made and they were out the same day to do them. I would gladly hire DHI Sprinklers again and highly recommend them. R. W. Cottage Grove, Mn.
Dale and team did an amazing job. Needed to replace a number of old plumbing valves to ensure maximum volume over our nearly 1/2 acre property. Did everything in two days! Top notch all the way around! I had an existing sprinkler system that didn’t water many spots evenly and with tree growth and other items added to the yard the sprinkler system needed to be updated. Dale came out gave me a quote and we talked about quite a few options. You can tell he takes pride in his work. Every place he had to dig he filled back in like it never happened. We have used DHI Sprinklers for the past 2 years for sprinkler system start-up, shutdown and repairs. Dale is always on time, does an excellent job, communicates well and is easy to work with. During start-up and shut down he also takes care of minor repairs. His services are priced very reasonably, something that is possible because Dale is the business. No large overhead to support. AngiesList had a special a few years back and I bought that deal. I have used DHI Sprinklers since that time. Dale opens and closes our underground sprinkling system each year. He sends a reminder each spring and we pay for the year’s maintenance at that time. He is excellent on all kinds of systems and always has a few replacement parts to service our system. Dale came as scheduled, opened our system, check out all of the heads to be certain they were functioning as needed, and replaced a cover which had cracked during the winter, at no additional cost to us. He also set the timer so we were good to go for the summer. In the fall he comes and blows out the system. He is reliable, and very knowledgeable about various systems. K. H. Plymouth, Mn.
We just moved into a new house and the sprinklers were not working correctly. I called Dale at DHI Sprinklers and he responded the same day and came out the next day. I was very happy with his work. He even showed me a broken sprinkler head that he could have replaced but told me that it really wasn’t needed in that area and gave me the choice. I signed up and paid for a yearly service agreement that included winterizing the system this fall. Dale was very prompt and helpful and I appreciated how quickly he got everything working correctly. I had planned to replace some sod, and wanted to add an irrigation system before the lawn work so the grass would hopefully not die a second time. The sod company I hired recommended DHI Sprinklers, and since Dale’s bid was comparable to the others I received I decided to go with him. Dale was out here with a small crew over parts of two days. I’m happy with the end result. There were a couple of minor problems that Dale had to take care of after the install was complete, but he was always responsive. In fact, he came out late in the evening to look at one problem (a zone wasn’t working) so I wouldn’t have to take off work to meet him during the day. He offers a good warranty, and I’m comfortable having him do all of the yearly maintenance. K. P. New Hope, Mn.
Dale and his DHI Sprinkler team installed a 6 zone underground irrigation system at my home, including completing all necessary internal and external plumbing. Excellent experience. Honestly, based on what I read here on Angie’s List, I did not obtain bids for this work from anyone but Dale. Dale’s communication was great throughout the process. He and his team showed up as scheduled and completed the entire installation in one day. He ended the day reviewing the operation of the system with me. Couldn’t have gone better. He made the installation prior to my sod being laid, and he came back after to show me how the system works and to see if I had any questions.
